Join us for a presentation on basic vegan nutrition and learn how to avoid the most common nutrient deficiencies – common to both vegans and omnivores. Dr. Jasmine Hall will show you how to meet your nutrient and caloric requirements on a gluten-free, whole foods, plant-based diet. As well, private vegan chef, Celena McCarty, will share her 25 years of experience with vegan and gluten-free nutrition and food preparation and will provide simple, budget- friendly food recipes, storage ideas, shopping tips, and advice on essential kitchen tools and equipment to help you succeed on your plant-based diet. There will be a food demo, samples, and time for Q&A.
